Jarrod Brooks for Berkeley County Council

Jarrod Brooks is a life-long South Carolina resident. He has lived in Charleston for 27 years and has called Berkeley County and Daniel Island home for 20 years. Jarrod has experienced the rapid growth of his own neighborhood and sees the importance of balancing growth with quality of life.
Jarrod has been in business his entire 31-year career. He has never held public office and was elected president of Daniel Island Neighborhood Association in August, 2023, and serves as president-elect of his industry's trade organization, SCDTSEA, South Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association. Jarrod graduated from USC in 1993 with a Finance degree. He attends Seacoast Church and even taught his pastors’ kids how to drive!
In his 26-year franchise career, Jarrod has dedicated his energy to starting hundreds of businesses and thousands of jobs for his franchisees. If you’re a small business owner or depend on one, you want Jarrod on council. Jarrod lives everyday making payroll, dealing with government regulation, insurance, landlords, taxes, etc.
Jarrod currently employs 26 instructors as the owner of driving schools operating in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. Through this, Jarrod is connected to two of the most important parts of Berkeley County-our roads and our kids.
